The Earth is a microscopic particle floating around in space. Magnitudes smaller than a grain of sand in the Pacific Ocean. One of trillions.

So why all the fuss about it?

Diameter of a grain of sand = ~2mm

Pacific Ocean (155,557,000 sq km) -> ~17,650 km across

(17,650 kilometers) / (2 millimeters) = the Pacific Ocean is ~8,825,000,000 times bigger than a grain of sand.

Diameter of the Milky Way Galaxy/Diameter of the Earth - in kilometers

(9 (10^17)) / 12 756.2 = 7.05539267 10^13

The Milky Way Galaxy is 70,553,926,700,000 times bigger than the Earth.

...among over 200 billion galaxies in the Universe...

  1. It couldn't be about the earth. There are lots of rocks, dirt, and chemicals in space. Entire planets and galaxies made of diamond and gold. In other words: they may only be valuable on Earth.
  2. It has to be about the people. It has to be about life. It is said that bees seem to function as a group unit. Communicating somehow. All the people on the earth are connected somehow. Perhaps through the Spirit of Life - the Spirit of God? Life energy? Gravity? Invisible forces?

  3. The Being at the Tower of Bable wanted to keep us seperate. That would say - the united spirit of man is against God.

  4. We were made the image and shadow of God. God is THE King. It would seem that part of Him that knows and wants to remain King - is in us.

  5. Everybody wants to be free to rule his own world. King of all he perceives.

  6. Is that what freedom really is: each man becoming his own king/lord/god over his own little patch of ground? Ruling it as he or she desires - good or evil? That is why Islam calls America the land of Satan. Because instead of calling Allah King, we make ourselves into kings.

  7. The united spirit of man is against God? Or is God? How could God be against Himself? For man to be united is an act of WILL. It is a decision - a deliberate choice. A man working alone can do great things. Many people working together can do impossible things - God things. God is separate from us. Holy is set appart.

  8. A country that can vote for a leader, can vote for a leader who is anti-Christ. But it is GOODness and RIGHTeousness that unites and keeps a people functioning - working. So voting an anti-Christ into power could destroy a country.

  9. Still, the Earth is a microscopic particle floating around in space. Magnitudes smaller than a grain of sand in the Pacific Ocean. One of trillions.

So why all the fuss about it?

  10. Most people hardly ever look up. They almost always stare at the ground or eye level. If you ask people on the street about the International Space Station, they think you are joking and don't know what you are talking about. People who seek power on Earth have little perception of what is in the sky. How utterly small the Earth is. Selfish grabs for dominance over other people shows an incredible shallowness. It is humbling to grasp even a tiny bit of the great immensity of the Universe.

  11. It is 2 people on an island fighting over the last bean. When the bean is gone - then what? The better way would be to search together for other food, plant the bean, so more beans will grow. Man without God is just a bunch of cannibals fighting over the last bean (Earth). When put into perspective: struggling over the little patch of ground called Earth is STUPID. It is simple: honor God, live, love, and you will prosper; dishonor God, live, fight, and die.

  12. Though the Universe is incredibly huge beyond human comprehension: the moral law to "love one another" is built into the fabric and function of the Universe - same as the laws of physical science: gravity, pressure, temperature, thermodynamics, electricity, astrophysics, etc. The moral law exists the same as physical science, immutable. Its obvious constant presence speaks loudly to the real and actual universal presence of God. You may fight it, but it will have the same effect as complaining about the weather - a dog barking at thunder.

  13. I know that if I travel to the far side of the Universe the same physical laws will be present there as here: gravity, pressure, temperature, thermodynamics, electricity, astrophysics, etc. I know this to be so because telescopes have photographed the far reaches of the Universe and it looks the same there as it does here: suns, planets, galaxies. The physical laws are built into the fabric and function of the Universe. If something attempts to break these physical laws - depending on how badly - it disintegrates. Thus is demonstrated the nature of sin: when the moral law is broken - depending on how bad the sin is - people get sick or die.

Love is not complicated. Even a dog understands love.

[1 John 4:8] Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

Praise God Most high!
